Sine Wave Inverters (1000 Watt)

Software Bisque provides the following information about sine wave inverters for your convenience only. This accessory is not required to power the Paramount ME in the field.

 

Any power source that supplies the minimum Paramount ME power requirements is sufficient to operate the Paramount ME.

 

 

To generate a reliable power source during portable field use, Software Bisque recommends including a 1000 Watt true sine wave inverter to operate your equipment (including the Paramount ME). These devices convert output from a car or deep-cycle marine battery to a clean, reliable AC signal.

There are a number of other off-the-shelf inverters.

 

A 1000 Watt inverter, coupled with one heavy-duty deep cycle marine battery, produces ample power for an entire night's operation (including camera, mount, focuser and computer). When choosing a battery, remember, the heavier the battery, the longer supply of power (in general).
