Power Requirement Specifications

The Paramount ME's control system has the following power requirements (input).

• 80W supply (48V at 1.66A).  During normal sidereal tracking, the mount draws 20 watts, and approximately 50 watts during maximum rate, dual-axis slews.

Paramount ME Power Supply Unit

The Paramount ME power supply is included with the mount as a standard component.  Software Bisque also offers replacement power supplies to Paramount ME customers.  The power supply originates from XP Power (model number HUP80-18) and includes a standard grounded, 3-prong power cord (the plug fits standard +120V power outlets found in the U.S.A.). 

The Paramount ME power supply can accept voltages up to +240V (see specs below).  Note that a country-specific outlet-to-power supply cord is not supplied and must be purchased separately. 

Software Bisque has a professional harness manufacturing company fit the power supply with a power plug that is compatible with the Paramount ME Adaptor Panel's input power plug.
