• * Earlier model Optron SmartStar mounts used the Silicon Labs CP210X USB to UART Bridge for serial communications on macOS and Windows.  This UART requires a Virtual Serial Port Driver to be installed before TheSky can communicate with these model mounts.  The CP210x USB to UART Bridge VCP Drivers (VCP Driver Kit) are available from the Silicon Labs web site.
