If you are well-versed the Apple ecosystem (how to use iPads, iPhones or iPods, purchase apps from the App Store, and using QuickTime from Mac or Windows OS to sync or copy files to your device), you can skip this section.
iOS applications or “apps” like TheSky are purchased and downloaded directly from Apple’s Online Store (the “App Store”). Before you can purchase an app from the App Store, create an account with Apple, then sign in. Search the web for the text “My Apple ID” to locate the web page to get started.
Once you have your Apple ID, you’re ready to purchase apps from the Apple Online Store. Download the app from the App Store to your mobile device. It’s that easy.
