Precision Bubble Level

 

The optional Paramount ME Precision Bubble Level allows you to quickly and accurately level the Paramount ME for portable use (accurate to approximately one arcminute).

 

Cost: $70.00 plus shipping and handling each

Dimensions: 0.62 inches high x 1.75 inches (that is, the diameter of the circular base).

 

Note that a portion of the bubble level's circular base is removed so that its narrow enough to be mounted to base of the Paramount ME.

Precision Bubble Level Installation

The optional Precision Bubble Level for the Paramount ME allows for very accurate mount leveling.  Note that both mounting surfaces are precision machined so that the Paramount ME can be leveled to approximately one arcminute.

Tools Required

1/16-inch Allen wrench

 

Installation Procedure

  1. Using the short end of the 1/16-inch Allen wrench, carefully remove the three 3/16-inch long button socket cap screws on the base of the Paramount ME. The Paramount ME base has holes on either side that can be used to mount the Precision Bubble Level.

  2. Align the three holes on the Precision Bubble Level with the holes on the base of the mount. The flat edge on the Precision Bubble Level goes toward the mount. Tighten each of the 3/8-inch button socket caps screws until snug.
