Paramount ME II Worm Block Assembly

The Paramount is designed so that the precision components, including the worm gear, worm captivating bearings, motor pulleys, and DC servo motor can be easily replaced at the observatory.  When accidents happens and the worm gets damaged, the replacement worm block assembly is your ticket to quickly getting back observing.

Note that the Paramount ME II’s RA and Dec worm block assembly are identical.

Description

Paramount ME II worm block assembly is compatible with either the Paramount ME II’s RA or Dec axis.  The existing worm block assembly (including the worms, pulleys, belts, motors) can be removed, and replaced with this assembly without returning the mount to Software Bisque.  See the Documentation tab for details how.
