The Paramount Duo™ is a high-performance direct-drive gimbal that can carry a variety of instrumentation, making it ideal for research, SDA and SSA applications.

  • The gimbal head can be used as an altazimuth or equatorial mount (the optional Duo equatorial wedge required).
  • High-torque direct drive motors produce slew rates up to 100 degrees per second.
  • 300 lb. (140 kg) total weight capacity.
  • Integrated industrial-grade three-axis direct-drive motion control system.
  • Extended temperature range on-axis absolute encoders.
