SYSTEM ERROR SHARING VIOLATION INSTALLING UPDATE
ISSUE
During update setup, when the files are being copied to the hard disk, the message “System Error – Sharing Violation on Drive (A)” followed by the message box entitled “Severe” with the message “Error -2”. When setup is cancelled, “General File Transfer Error” message displayed.
RESOLUTION
Restart Windows with SHARE.EXE disabled (comment out of AUTOEXEC.BAT use REM), and try the update again – should go fine. See problem 119 if problems still exist.
