    MOON RISE SET, TIMES APPEAR TO BE INCORRECT

    ISSUE

    It appears to the user that either the Moon rise or set time is incorrect

    RESOLUTION

    (If the reported time is followed by a date, see point 2 below.)

    1. TheSky reports rise, transit, and set times for a given 24-hour period. This can be confusing, although it is logical. For example, TheSky might report the following for the Moon:

    rise=16h52m
    transit=23h09m
    set=4h48m

    These times are not necessarily in sequential order of rise, transit set. For this given day the moon first set at 4h, rose at 16h52m, and was in transit at 23h09m.

    2. If the time is followed by a date (which was added after v4.00.000), then the user may be encountering a known bug. On a date for which there is no such event (be it rise, transit or set), TheSky reports that of the following day, but incorrectly labels it as being the same day. We are looking into a solution.
