AUTOSTAR UNABLE TO SET LATITUDE BETWEEN 6-9 MINS.
ISSUE
When communicating with the Autostar version 1.3 via its built-in serial port, the Autostar set latitude command (“:St DD*MM#”) returns an error when attempting to set the latitude when the minutes input is 06, 07, 08 and 09.
To duplicate this behavior, run HyperTerminal (9600, 8, None, 1, No Flow Control) and send a “:St 43*06#” command. The return value from the Autostar is 0, meaning the set latitude command failed.
RESOLUTION
This is a limitation with the Autostar version 1.3.
