    MACINTOSH CANNOT READ REALSKY CD-ROMS

    ISSUE

When a RealSky CD-ROM is inserted into the Macintosh CD-ROM drive, the error message “This disk is unreadable by this computer” appears.

    RESOLUTION

The Foreign File Access Extension must be active in order for a Macintosh computer to read the ISO-9660 RealSky data CD-ROMs. Consult the Macintosh documentation for detailed instructions for enabling the extension. (Click Apple > Control Panels > Extensions Manager and then turn on the Foreign File Access Extension).
