SOME SOLAR SYSTEM IMAGES MISSING FROM THESKY V5

    ISSUE

When viewing the Multimedia tab sheet within TheSky’s Object Information dialog, some Solar System objects do not have images available.

    RESOLUTION

The user probably has TheSky v5.00.003 CD-ROM (files dated 1999 Feb 15). This CD-ROM has the German edition of the file “SSPICTS.TXT,” and the English edition of TheSky therefore does not recognize those objects with differently-spelled names (Sonne, Merkur, Erde, Neptun, Mond).

A corrected SSPICTS.TXT and SSPICTS.SDB will need to be obtained from Software Bisque’s web site (http://www.bisque.com).
