CCDSOFT MISSING MFC42.DLL

ISSUE

After successfully installing CCDSoft, upon attempting to launch, error message displayed:
“A required file is missing. Cannot open MFC42.DLL.” (approx. wording)

RESOLUTION

Most systems already have this .DLL file (included with Internet Explorer 4, for example), but if not present, it should be installed by CCDSoft. More recent (after 1998 Sep 28) installation media have corrected this, however downloading and performing the current update (v4.00.020 at time of writing) from our web site will eliminate the problem.
