      Software Bisque Knowledge Base Article – 234

      “LINK MAY BE BROKEN” THESKY AND TPOINT

      ISSUE

      Inserting a TPoint model into TheSky gives the following error message, “Unable to connect, Link may be broken”

      RESOLUTION

      There might be two reasons for this error:
      1. The copy of TPoint is old (date on TP.EXE must be >01/14/98. Make sure they have installed the latest TPoint on the CD-ROM that came with TheSkyUpdate.
      2. Their normal.sky is corrupt. Get the original Normal.Sky from the CD-ROM (make it not read only when coping).
