THESKY V2.11 TIME SKIP HAS PLOTTING PROBLEMS

    ISSUE

Performing a Time Skip under TheSky v2.11 (e.g. for Celestron), the Horizon line remains stationary, and the Ecliptic line leaves a trail. A user has further claimed that the planet motions are “erratic.”

    RESOLUTION

The Horizon Line should not be plotted during a non-Zenith Up Time Skip. The customer may manually disable this line by un-checking the Lines, Horizon Line option. (Upgrading to a current, full-product version of TheSky will eliminate this problem.
If the Ecliptic Line is trailing, it may be a video driver problem, as we cannot duplicate this behaviour. The customer may manually disable this line by un-checking the Lines, Ecliptic Line option. (The current, full-product version of TheSky is compatible with far more video drivers.)
