    REALSKY DISK 1-8 NOT RECOGNIZED BY MAC OS

    ISSUE

    When a RealSky CD 1-8 is inserted into the Macintosh CD-ROM drive, the error message “This disk is not recognizable..Do you wish to intialize this disk?” is displayed.

    RESOLUTION

    If the RealSky CD’s are not recognized by the Mac OS, enable the Foreign File Access Extension. Disk 1-8 are foramatted using ISO-9660 disk format, which is not recognized by the Mac HFS file system unless this extension is enabled..
