OLE32.DLL PROBLEMS AFTER INSTALLING CCDSOFT
ISSUE
During installation of CCDSoft, the user was asked if they wanted to replace their OLE32.DLL file. They chose YES, and now OLE32.DLL is of the wrong version, or possibly an empty (zero-byte) file.
During boot-up, one or more OLE-related error messages may appear, and OLE functions no longer work.
RESOLUTION
The Windows NT v4.0 version of OLE32.DLL was erroneously being distributed with CCDSoft v4.00.003. The user should do the following:
1. Replace OLE32.DLL with the correct one (copy OLE32.DLL from another machine with the same version of Windows, or Software Bisque can e-mail it).
2. Obtain and install the latest CCDSoft update (from http://www.bisque.com or otherwise). This step is not required, but highly recommended.
