    REGISTRY VALUES AREN’T IN REGISTRY

    ISSUE

The user is trying to utilize one or more options which require setting a Registry Value, however, the appropriate Value(s) are not currently present in the Registry.

    RESOLUTION

The optional Registry values described in Appendix A of the CCDSoft manual must be created by the user. For any specific value, this need only be done once. Here’s how:

    1. Close CCDSoft, if currently running.
    2. Open the Registry Editor (Start / Run, type REGEDIT, then select OK).
    3. Expand the HKEY_CURRENT_USER heading appearing in the list on the left side of the Registry Editor’s window.
    4. Navigate through this list to Software, Software Bisque, CCDSoft, and then select the category of interest (e.g. CCD CAMERA).
(If the desired value name (e.g. AbortInterval) is already present, you may go to step 8.)
    5. From the Edit menu, choose New, DWORD Value.
    6. Rename New Value #1 with the appropriate value name (e.g. AbortInterval).
    7. Choose OK, or press Enter to accept the value name.
    8. Double-click the value name (or its icon) to bring up the Edit DWORD Value dialog.
    9. Set Value Data to the desired value. The available values are detailed in Appendix A of the CCDSoft manual.
    10. Choose OK. To leave the Registry, simply exit – your changes are already saved.
