      TIME SERVICE FAILS

      ISSUE

When the user dials the NIST 1-303-494-4774 number, the error message “Command Failed” appears, regardless of the baud rate.

      RESOLUTION

If the Time Service command fails, make sure that no other applications are currently running. This command is very time critical, so other applications can consume too much processor time and cause the Time Service to fail.
