ONLY UPPER-LEFT QUARTER OF SKY CHART SHOWN
ISSUE
When using either the File, Print or File, Print Preview commands, the resultant Sky Chart has only the upper-left quadrant of the complete chart. (WIth HP LJ4, the printer also has a memory overflow message.)
RESOLUTION
If the error “Printer Overflow Error” is encountered, there is not enough available printer memory to print the star chart or the printer is not properly configured. Printing star charts may require a long time to print as well (more than 10 minutes).
To Solve this problem, try the following:
1. Try printing the star chart at a lower printer resolution to make sure that a star chart is printing OK.
2. If the printer has expanded memory (added by the user), make sure the printer is set up properly to recognize the additional memory. Under Windows 95 and NT 4.0, click Start, Settings, Control Panel, then double-click the Printer icon from the Control Panel Window. Select the installed printer and click the Properties command from the File menu. On the Device Settings tab, click the Installed Memory option, then specify the amount of currently installed printer memory.
3. Turn on Page Protection in the printer properties
4. Enable Raster printing, rather than Vector from the printer properties.
