REALSKYVIEW CRASHES WHEN VIEWING NGC.LST

ISSUE

Upon selecting a target for viewing from the NGC.LST file, the cursor briefly changes to the hourglass, then RealSkyView vanishes – no error messages are displayed; it’s simply gone.

Viewing the same NGC objects from their DISKx.LST file has no problem.

RESOLUTION

The list box contents are too large for available memory. Try to free as much conventional RAM as possible, however this may be a limitation of Win32s. upgrading to Windows 95 or NT may be the only true solution.
