      I’m considering purchasing TheSkyX Astronomy Software, but would like to know if I can get a free trial or demo version to evaluate.

      Incremental Pricing

      TheSkyX is available in several editions, including Student, Serious Astronomer and Professional. Upgrades are available from a lower edition to a higher one at a reduced price (at, or about, the difference in their regular prices). Therefore, you could start with a lower edition to become more familiar with the basic functionality before choosing to advance. But bear in mind that telescope/mount interfacing requires at least the Serious Astronomer Edition, and that camera, focuser, filter wheel, rotator and dome interfacing require optional add-ons that are only available for the Professional Edition.
