      Software Bisque Knowledge Base Article – 1208

      ERROR MESSAGE USING THE INSERT WCS/AUTOASTROMETRY COMMAND

      ISSUE

      Clicking the Research | Insert WCS/AutoAstrometry command from CCDSoft gives the following error message:

      “Undescribed error: Error code = -2147221005 (800401f3)”

      RESOLUTION

      The error message may appear if CCDSoft is configured to use TheSky version 5 when TheSky6 is installed.

      See SB KB Article 1065 for details on how to configure CCDSoft to use TheSky6 and not TheSky version 5.

      If the behavior persists, SBKB Article 1072 for additional troubleshooting procedures.
