ON LAUNCHING, THESKY CAN’T FIND .SDB FILE(S)

ISSUE

On launching TheSky, a warning is displayed:

“Can’t find /Dataplus/.sdb”

RESOLUTION

TheSky has been instructed to obtain some database information from a CD-ROM which is not currently accessible. Check the following:

1. Is the referenced CD-ROM actually in the CD-ROM drive?
2. Does the CD-ROM drive letter agree with that in the message?
3. Does the specified file exist on the CD-ROM?

NOTE TO DATAPLUS USERS: If you have installed all necessary files from TheSky CD-ROM in order to use the DataPlus CD-ROM stand-alone, then you should have the DataPlus CD-ROM in the drive, not TheSky CD-ROM!
