HOW CAN THESKY6’S DEFAULT INSTALLATION FOLDER BE CHANGED?

ISSUE

How can I install TheSky6 to a particular folder or drive?

RESOLUTION

TheSky6 Setup allows you to specify TheSky6’s installation folder.

1. Insert TheSky6 media disc 1 and wait for the installation to begin.

2. On the first window, click Install.

3. Click Next.

4. Accept the license agreement by clicking the appropriate option, and then click Next.

5. Enter your name, company name, and serial number and then click Next.

6. Confirm the registration information by clicking Yes.

7. On the Choose Destination Folder window, click Change to specify the installation folder and drive.

1. Continue clicking Next to complete the installation.

Notes:
The above procedure assumes that TheSky6 has not already been installed. If TheSky6 has already been installed, and you wish to install it to a different folder, then, either,

1. Uninstall TheSky6 and then follow the above procedure to reinstall TheSky6 to a different folder.
2. Manually move TheSky6’s folder, and all its subfolders to a different location, run TheSky6Defaults.exe, and edit the properties of TheSky6’s desktop and menu icons to the new folder.
