SETTING THE LIMITING MAGNITUDE IN THESKY6

    ISSUE

How do I specify the upper and lower magnitudes for objects in TheSky6?

    RESOLUTION

    For a single object,

    1. Right-click on the object, and then select the Properties of… command.

    2. On the Display Properties tab, enter the limiting magnitudes and then click OK. Click here for details.

To set the magnitude of multiple object types, you can run a script:

    1. Download and unzip SetMagnitudeForAllObjects.zip.

    2. Double-click on the file SetMagnitudeForAllObjects.wsf to run a script that sets the upper and lower magnitudes for all objects in TheSky6.

    APPLIES TO
