      ERROR MESSAGE CONNECTING TO AN SBIG CAMERA

      ISSUE

      When attempting to connect to an SBIG camera, the following error is displayed:

      Error opening “sbigudrv”
      The specified service does not exist as an installed service

      RESOLUTION

      This error message means the SBIG camera drivers are not installed (or not installed properly).

      1. Download the SBIGDriverChecker.exe from SBIG.

      2. Install the latest SBIG camera drivers.
