ACCESSING PICTURES FROM THE ANGLO-AUSTRALIAN OBSERVATORY AND THE HUBBLE SPACE TELESCOPE

    ISSUE

I own TheSky6 Professional Edition on CD-ROM or TheSky6 Student Edition, and understand that, by design, the photographs from the Anglo-Australian Observatory and Hubble Space Telescope are not included. How can I view these images?

    RESOLUTION

Pictures from the Anglo-Australian Observatory and Hubble Space Telescope can be downloaded from the Software Bisque anonymous ftp site.

    1. Download the files Anglo-Australian Observatory Pictures.zip (92 MB) and “Hubble Space Telescope Pictures.zip” (66 MB).
    2. Unzip the contents of “Anglo-Australian Observatory Pictures.zip” to a folder named “Anglo-Australian Observatory” in TheSky6's Pictures folder. The default complete path name of this folder should be:  C:/Program Files/Software Bisque/TheSky6/Data/Pictures/Anglo-Australian Observatory
    3. Unzip the contents of “Hubble Space Telescope Pictures.zip” to a folder named “Hubble Space Telescope” in TheSky6's Pictures folder. The default complete path name of this folder should be: C:/Program Files/Software Bisque/TheSky6/Data/Pictures/Hubble Space Telescope

For details about viewing these collections of photographs:

    1. Visit http://www.bisque.com/help

    2. Click on “TheSky6” link.

    3. Search for “Displaying AAO Pictures”.

    APPLIES TO

TheSky6 Professional Edition on CD-ROM media and TheSky6 Student Edition.
