LOCATING SKY DATABASES (SDBS) THAT ARE INCLUDED WITH THESKY6

ISSUE

When attempting to load Sky Databases (SDBs) from TheSky6 by clicking Data | Sky Database Manager, none are listed in the “/My Documents/Software Bisque/TheSky6/SDBs” folder.

RESOLUTION

The “Sky Database” files that are supplied with TheSky6 are not copied to the “My Documents” folder. To access them, navigate to TheSky6’s “Sky Databases” folder. By default, this folder is named:

“C:/Program Files/Software Bisque/TheSky6/Data/User/SDBs”

By default, the Data | Sky Database Manager command opens the SDB folder located in “My Documents/Software Bisque/TheSky6” folder. If you have not added your own SDB files to this folder, none will be present.

This behavior is by design.
