THE PARAMOUNT ME’S TRACKING MUST BE ENABLED ON EACH TIME THE MOUNT IS POWERED

ISSUE

After the Paramount ME’s tracking rate has been enabled, each time the Paramount ME is powered, the Telescope | Options | Tracking command is unchecked (that is, TheSky6 reports that tracking is turned off).

RESOLUTION

A Registry setting is saved “opposite” to what is stored in the Paramount ME’s firmware. To resolve this behavior:

1. Click Start | Run, enter “Regedit” and then click OK.
2. Navigate to the following Registry key:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER/Software/Software Bisque/TheSky6/MKS

3. Right-click the “bTracking” option (on the right side of the Registry window) and then click Modify.
4. If the value for bTracking is set to 1, set it to 0. If the value is 0, set it to 1.
5. On the Registry window, click File | Exit.

APPLIES TO

The Paramount ME communicating with TheSky6 Professional Edition version 6.0.0.40 and earlier. This issue is resolved in later versions.
