CCDSOFT’S DECLINATION VALUE IS ALWAYS ZERO DURING CALIBRATION

    ISSUE

I’ve configured CCDSoft to use TheSky6 Professional Edition, and expected the value for declination in CCDSoft’s Camera | Autoguide, “Declination” to show the current declination of the telescope during the calibration process. However, the value remains zero.

    RESOLUTION

The declination value in the Camera | Autoguide | Declination text box is zero by default, and will remain zero during the Calibration process. That is, the telescope’s declination at the time of calibration is not display.

When TheSky6 Professional Edition is connected to a telescope, and CCDSoft is configured to use TheSky6 Professional Edition, CCDSoft will display the declination of the telescope during the **autoguding process** only.

    This behavior is by design.

    APPLIES TO

CCDSoft Version 5 and TheSky6 Professional Edition

    KEYWORDS
