FLI CAMERA DOES NOT APPEAR IN THE CCDSOFT CAMERA LIST

ISSUE

After installing the latest version of the CCDSoft Camera Plug In, clicking Camera | Setup and dropping down the Camera list box fails to list the FLI camera driver.

RESOLUTION

1. Exit CCDSoft.

2. Copy the file named “FLI.DLL” from the folder:

   “C:/Program Files/Common Files/System”

   to the CCDSoft folder, by default, it is:

   “C:/Program Files/Software Bisque/CCDSoft Version 5”

A third-party application has (incorrectly) installed an older version of the file named “FLI.DLL” into the Windows System folder (C:/Windows/System). Windows therefore loads this older DLL file, and prevents CCDSoft from loading the latest FLI camera drivers.

By manually copying the latest version of the FLI.DLL file into the CCDSoft folder, Windows will correctly load this new version of the FLI drivers, and the FLI Cameras will appear in the CCDSoft camera list.
