    INSTALLING RAS FROM CD-ROM GIVES SCRIPT ERROR 503

    ISSUE

    During installation of RAS from a CD-ROM, the installation program reports an error at script line 503. The installation then exits.

    RESOLUTION

    The 16-bit RAS on early RASClient CD-ROMs cannot be installed directly from the CD-ROM.

    The files from the Disk001-005 folders must be copied to a single folder on the hard disk, then install.exe can be run from there.
