IMAGE BUTTON NOT AVAILABLE IN OBJECT ID
ISSUE
When an SDB is active and contains images (like pictures.sdb in the aaohi directory) the only way to activate the picture is to point at the Image Symbol on the Sky Display.
Users expect the Image Button on the Object Identification dialog to be enabled.
RESOLUTION
1. User may have TheSky v4.00.000, if so, they should update to v4.00.001, or later.
On 4-4-96 the software was changed to cross-reference the object ID with the alias listed in the image SDB (such as ngc1976). Now, if you search for Eagle, and you have an active SDB with NGC6611 in it, the camera icon will appear.
2. The Sky Database (.SDB) may not have all fields necessary to this functionality defined.
The RA, Dec, Dec Sign, Alias, and File Name must be defined in order for the Image Button to appear in the Object Identification dialog. The file name must include the path, unless: the related .SDB, .TXT *and* image files are in the SAME folder; or, the related images are in the folder indicated by the Data, File Locations, Image Path setting.
