UNREGISTERED USER IN ABOUT BOX UNDER WIN32S

ISSUE

Due to a bug in the installation program under Win32S, the user’s serial number is not properly recorded in SKY.INI. As a result, the About box erroneously shows “Unregistered User”.

RESOLUTION

Under Win32S, if the About Box shows “Unregistered User” and the user has entered a valid serial number, edit SKY.INI in the WINDOWS folder to correct this error. From any text editor, load SKY.INI and type the following lines:

(Registration)
Serial Number=”users serial number”

where “users serial number” is the users actual serial number, in decimal (not hex, octal, or binary). This must be a valid serial number.
